This successful fundraising in a currently challenging environment demonstrates, on the one hand, that there is an increasing appetite from the investors' community to contribute to the emergence of a new growth model respectful of people and planet. And on the other hand, it indicates that investors are slowly understanding that performance and impact go hand in hand, which is validated by the strong track record of the Impact Expansion team in that regard.

The Impact Expansion team is delighted to announce its oversubscribed final closing at its hard cap of €150m for Impact Expansion Fund I, well above its €120m target size.


June 2024

BeliVert is a fast-growing energy solutions provider based in West-Flanders, that focuses on Photovoltaics (PV) installations and localised energy storage to create a self-sufficient energy ecosystem. It marks Impact Expansion’s first investment in Belgium.

Impact Expansion enters into the capital of BeliVert to support its growth ambitions.


July 2023

The Fund has already invested in three companies: Potential Project which provides solutions to burnouts in large organisations, SomniPlanet which treats patients suffering from sleep apnea, and Mon Kit Solaire which offers affordable renewable energy solutions to consumers.

Impact Expansion announces a second closing above €100m, with the objective of reaching €120-150m by Q1 2024.


April 2023

MonKitSolaire, through its website, distributes residential solar panels that can be self-installed ("do-it-yourself" DIY) and allowing consumers to auto-consume the produced renewable energy, generating electricity cost savings and contributing to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. MonKitSolaire contributes to SDG#7 (affordable and clean energy), SDG#12 (responsible consumption and production) and SDG#13 (climate action).

Impact Expansion invests €6m to take a minority stake in MonKitSolaire.


November 2022

Targeting the environment, employment and health sectors, this new fund aims to support profitable SMEs looking for €5 to €20 million of capital to accelerate their development.

Impact Expansion announces a first closing above €50m, with the objective of reaching €120m in 2023 for its Fund.


June 2022

The limited assurance issued by EY Luxembourg is another proof of Impact Expansion’s commitment to sustainable finance, and to its aim of contributing to create a society that is more inclusive and sustainable by enabling transformational businesses to tackle systemic social and environmental problems.

Impact Expansion Fund is now certified Article 9 of the EU Sustainable Financial Disclosure Regulation (SFDR) by EY Luxembourg.

SomniPlanet is a French-based company providing homecare treatments to patients suffering from sleep apnea. New funds will support a buy-and-build strategy in France and Impact Expansion expects to deploy up to €15m over time. SomniPlanet contributes to SDG #3 (good health and well-being), SDG #8 (decent work and economic growth) and SDG #9 (industry, innovation and infrastructure).
